This is an amazing fun product to do with the family or on your own

This robot arm is well-made and has a lot of technical details in the manual. It covers everything, but just so you know, you'll need programming skills, especially in Python, to do cool things with it. It's not a toy, so be sure the person you're buying it for can code.
I'm trying to make it find and use a joystick like a human steering it. The project isn't finished, but the arm seems like it can do what I want.
Good things: The arm is strong and looks good with its metal parts. It was packed well and easy to put together. The tutorial videos are handy. It runs on Ubuntu Linux, which has lots of online help.

Excellent Build Quality

I bought this robotic arm from Amazon.com. The build quality is excellent. The provided documentation is great to start learning about robotics. It would be good to have some description of how to use the "Board" python library for the expansion board to interface with different ports, especially the second serial bus servo port.
