The VEX AI Robotics Competition (VAIRC) is an advanced AI challenge for students, providing an opportunity to level up their autonomous robots in competition! It also simplifies connecting the Jetson Nano to the V5 Brain for AI robot development. The kit comes with programming resources and tutorials, ensuring teams have a strong foundation to develop their custom solutions and achieve their best performance in VAIRC.

【Target Detection and Moving Post Placement】The robot begins by scanning its surroundings to locate rings of its assigned color. Once a ring is identified, the robot automatically moves toward it and performs the gripping action. Afterward, the robot continues scanning to find a moving post. Upon locating the post, it accurately places the ring in the target position.

【Target Detection and Fixed Post Placement】In this scenario, the robot scans for rings of its assigned color, successfully identifying and gripping them. It then navigates to a fixed post, where the DaBai Depth Camera identifies the post’s position. The robot performs precise visual calibration and alignment before completing the accurate placement of the ring on the fixed post.
